Tears & Memory is a reflection of our passions and our life and that is why all our t-shirts are of the highest quality organically grown fair trade cotton and are sweatshop free.
We aim to minimise our environmental impact and so use as little packaging as we can while ensuring your order reaches you in perfect condition. Wherever possible, we re-use packing materials or use packaging made from recycled or biodegradable materials.

Tears & Memory is an online business selling t-shirts and secondhand records.
We want our business to reflect our lives and so aim to take an ethical and environmentally responsible approach to business.
Products
Our T-shirts are made from 100% organic, fair-trade and sweatshop free cotton.
Printing t-shirts is still a little problematic for the environmentally conscious business. We are working hard to source the greenest possible print techniques.
Our records are second-hand – the ultimate form of recycling.
Packaging
Our T-shirts are dispatched in 100% recycled tissue paper within a biodegradable Eco-Poly Jacket.
Our records are sent in previously used packaging or recycled packaging.
We use the minimum amount of packaging that will still ensure our products reach our customers in perfect condition.
Our Office
As a small business we are still able to run Tears and Memory from our home. This helps us to reduce our business travel and to apply the way we live at home to our business.
This includes using only ethically sourced and environment-friendly products, recycling as much as possible and minimizing our energy consumption.
Our business relations
As a wholly independent business Tears & Memory is able to closely control and monitor the businesses we deal with.
Wherever possible, Tears & Memory deal only with other businesses that share something of our vision for sustainable and responsible business.
We will not knowingly deal with business;
• involved in the arms trade
• involved in animal testing, blood sports or the fur trade
• that support or supply oppressive regimes
• whose core activity contributes to climate change, through the extraction or production of fossil fuels
• whose core activity is the manufacture of chemicals which are linked to environmental and health concerns
• whose core activity is the unsustainable harvest of natural resources such as timber.
